Also, holy crap the IS is small. Looks big in my driveway and my garage by itself, but as soon as it’s parked near any other vehicle it’s still a bit of a shock.
Oh, and yes this was just another excuse to post my car.

How big is it compared to an E36? They were supposed to be in the same class, right?

I think the e46 would be closer those were 99 to 05. I imagine they’re quite close, e46 isn’t a big car by modern standards. E36 and e46 are pretty damn close in size too.

The E46 touring apparently has 4" more rear legroom, not to mention more cargo volume

Yeah, if there’s one thing I know about IS’es it’s how cramped the rear seats are.

It’s a perfect/normal size. I think it’s even slightly bigger than mine.
